FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction is demolition racing at its extreme. The PC series has previously been available through Steam, but now the developer Team6 is bringing their latest creation to the Android Market. Company CEO Ronnie Nelis recently revealed that FlatOut 3′s popular Stuntman mode would be turned into a full-blown game for Android devices.

The concept of the game is simple. Gameplay includes the player driving their vehicles into obstacles, which ejects the driver who flies out the window. Mission objectives include hitting a target with the driver, breaking as many bones as possible, or just causing mass destruction.

When we were doing concept art for the levels we had in mind, we suddenly realized that there is not a single game we can think of that's more fun to develop than 'FlatOut: Stuntman'. It's the pure essence, it has all the ingredients, of what the perfect videogame should be made of: The gameplay is entirely based upon very short levels but each of them highly additictive with a replay-value like no other game. The visuals we were able to achieve on Tegra 3 are truly unbelievable and meanwhile our level design assured that gamers will be pleasantly surprised or even shocked by the possibilities in gameplay and content: There is nothing left for us to wish for what a great game should include.Ronnie NelisTeam6

NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 is mentioned as the target platform, but we expect the developer will target as many Android devices as possible that can handle the game. For an idea of what’s in store, check out the trailer for the PC version of FlatOut 3 below.

Sounds like the stunt mode in the Burnout series for consoles. Count me in as excited and just another reason I can’t wait to win one of those Transformer Primes in the Android Bowl!

I loved the Flatout Racing game for the 360. My friends and i would party and play the stuntman mode all the time. I can’t wait to play this.

I hope it has controller support so I can hook up my Asus TP with a ps3 controller and play it that way.
