UPDATE: Check out our Hands on: new iPad review
In the wake of the new iPad, the old iPad (that's the iPad 2, to its friends) has had something of a price cut.
You'll now be able to nab a 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2 for $399 in the States, which will comes out at £329 in the UK.
That is a crazily low amount of money for an Apple tablet – in fact, it's pretty low for any tablet – and could put paid to the rumours of a lower-cost iPad Mini to compete with the likes of the $199 Kindle Fire.
So you want an iPad but aren't sure whether the upgrade is worth forking out the extra cash? Watch our video comparison of the 2 models: Sweet sixteenIt looks as though the iPad 2 will only be available in 16GB iterations though, with the Wi-Fi and 3G model coming in at $529 in the US and £429 in the UK.
That means there's only £70 between the 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2 and the 16 GB Wi-Fi only "new iPad" (or iPad 3, if you're old school).
If you're having trouble deciding which to plump for, you can check out all the many and varied features of the new iPad right here on TechRadar.

I don't give two hoots about the Transformer Pad Infinity 700. It's 1080p on a 10" screen! That's about the only difference. Once the Transformer Pad Infinity 700 launches, I'm hoping the Transformer Pad Prime will come down in price.
32Gb only is a bummer (64Gb tablets from any make cost the earth though) but I believe the dock only addition is international, not just the UK.
The Transformer Pad Infinity 700 and cheaper Transformer Pad 300 will also only come with the keyboard. I guess Asus decided it's their USP.
All are Quad Core remember.
Alert a moderatordyonas3. Would you buy the Transformer when the Transformer Prime is out there with a full HD version due later? I'm really annoyed that the UK gets the crappy deal again with the Prime where we have no option of size (32GB only for us) and no option to buy the keyboard dock later. That pushes the price way past what I'm willing to spend but hopefully this iPhad and the lower price of the iPhad 2 will give ASUS a push.
Alert a moderatorbradavon2. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 16GB Wifi is already about £300.
Alert a moderatordyonas1. The only good that I'm hoping to see come from this is a price drop for decent Android tablets. Competing on specs. is one thing but when you're matching price to what is known as a premium brand with far more publicity you're going to lose out.
